Greek spearhead
The Greek spearhead was the integral part of the main weapon of the Hoplite, a heavily armed foot soldier whose primary weapon was "the long shadowed spear." It was a weapon that ranged in length from 6 to 18 feet, and could be used either as a spear or a pika. The shorter design was used as a throwing weapon. Early models were made of bronze, but iron, once it became usable, became the material of choice for the Greek spearhead.
