Replicating an original 14th century design, these fully articulated hourglass gauntlets are made from 18 gauge riveted steel and are easy to wear. These gauntlets are narrow at the wrist, flaring out towards the fingers and elbow, creating an hourglass shape. They are riveted to leather gauntlets and have a leather strap across the palm for added fit, security and strength. The fingers and thumbs are protected with an additional layer of tougher leather that also protects the suede gauntlet from wear and tear.
