The shape of this helmet is the most classic one that we associate with the image of a knight. This helmet was used on both fronts during the wars of Henry VIII in France (1522-1523). The term "Close Helm" defines a type of helmet that covers the entire head, for complete protection, with a very reduced field of vision to expose the eyes as little as possible.
The visor is pierced with keyholes on both sides for good airflow during combat. The bottom is split into two overlapping pieces that are hinged at the sides and meet at the chin, while the visor locks securely over it.
