The Cold Steel Spartan Knife designed by Andrew Demko, and is a smaller version of the kopis in pocket knife format.
Its hollow ground blade is made of American BD1 steel. In appearance and cutting performance it reminds the famous Kukri.
Inspired by the kopis handle, it is designed to withstand the effects of centrifugal force and to ensure a very secure fit. It is injection moulded from Griv-Ex and fitted with hardened steel plates that provide additional strength. Thus, a new level of security is achieved.
The use of patented thumb disk allows the Spartan to be as close to a conventional knife, or it can be opened automatically when pulled from your pocket. In addition, the Spartan is equipped with the Tri-Ad locking mechanism, which has proven itself in Cold Steels tests as shock proof and resistant to stress and strain. Thus, this lock secures unparalleled in the security industry.

CTS® BD1 is a stainless steel alloy from the USA, which is used in many areas, be it in the defense industry, in medical technology, but also in knife production. BD1 has an excellent reputation when it comes to edge retention and corrosion resistance.
