1723090300 Byzantine helmet 2 mm thick

Reproduction of a battle-ready Byzantine helmet from the 10th century. The helmet shell is made of seven concentrically forged and riveted steel reinforcements. The helmet has a bronze tip to which hair or feathers have been glued.

Helmets of this type were often worn in conjunction with a chain hood or Brunne.

Includes a high quality, adjustable, riveted leather inlay with chin strap.
