1716620700 Roman gladiator helmet THRACE

This type of helmet probably evolved from the Phrygian helmet and was widespread in ancient Greece. In the form offered here, it was known in Roman arenas as a Thraex gladiator-type helmet.

This reproduction is made of high-quality steel and decorated with several bronze-coloured applications on the helmet's characteristic crest and forehead. The face shield is hung on three small hinges and secured with a swivel fastener. A padded hood is included.
