This helmet replica is modeled after Germanic spangenhelmen from around 500 AD. Typical for this period is the pointed helmet shape as well as the nose fins and cheek pieces. The helmet is equipped with a very comfortable leather inlay with chin straps. Due to the processing method (overlapping clips), we classify this helmet as conditionally battle-ready.
