Brass knotting tips, 10 pieces, with crown.
The ends of Nestel tapes are often provided with metal sleeves, called "Nestel points", to facilitate their passage through holes or eyelets. These points were made from non-ferrous metal sheets that were cut and hammered into shape, then pressed onto the nestels or riveted through a hole in the nested, bag-shaped point.
