Norman wooden shield with knotted griffin, Viking Age Jellinge style, depicts the conquest of England and the Battle of Hastings in 1066a

On the back, three strong leather straps are attached. They allow a method of carrying the shield on the arm, but also the slopes of the shield over the shoulder. In addition, the attached leather trimmed back cushions mitigate the blows of the enemy.
The steel armour boss is not mounted. This must be done by the customer, either with the six screws provided with mixing heads or with own rivets or nails. Perfect for battle recreations
