Norman Teardrop Shield

Plywood shield, covered with a canvas. It represents the conquest of England and the Battle of Hastings in 1066a.

The shield is painted in a green-yellow design, based on contemporary images on the Bayeux Tapestry.

On the back, three strong leather straps are attached. They allow a method of carrying the shield on the arm, but also the slopes of the shield over the shoulder. In addition, the attached leather trimmed back cushions mitigate the blows of the enemy.
The steel shield boss is not mounted, this must be done by the customer, either with the six screws provided with mixing heads or with own rivets or nails.

It is perfect for recreations due to its lightness.
