The "Brown Bess" musket, officially called the Land Pattern Muskett, was one of the most widely used firearms during the 18th and 19th centuries. It was a long, heavy, smooth-bore, large-calibre musket, notable for its construction. robustness and the reliability of its flintlock mechanism, but also due to the short range and low speed of the projectile, in line with similar weapons of the time.
It was the basic weapon of the British infantry during the American Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars (1799-1815), in which Napoleon Bonaparte's strategic talent stood out.
It is manufactured in Spain by Denix with quality wood and metal.
