Hourglass gauntlets or gloves

Our battle-ready reconstruction of late medieval hourglass gloves is handcrafted with great artistry.
Similar gloves are in the original at Churburg Castle, South Tyrol for visiting and were probably made around 1390 by a Milanese armourer.

They are characterised not only by their precise workmanship and authentic appearance, but also impress with their excellent wearing comfort, as all phalanges can move freely and a completely soft leather glove is sewn inside.
The gauntlets are suitable for show fighting. They are made of steel of about 1.6 mm thickness. In addition, the steel parts with brass sheet are decorated and reinforced.
The inner gloves are made of light-colored leather, so it is possible to contaminate the lightly oiled steel parts.
In short, an almost perfect replica of Plattner's medieval art.
