Late medieval Churburg breastplate or cuirass
The Battle Merchant Late Medieval Churburg Armour is fully battle ready.
The breastplate dates back to 1360 and consists of a total of nine driven steel parts, which are riveted at the back with leather strips.
The chestpiece is therefore extremely flexible and adapts well to the height of its wearer. Just like the original, which can be visited in Churburg in South Tyrol, our replica has a bronze border and a solid "V" in the middle of the chest.
On the back of the harness there are two leather straps to adjust it to almost any type of torso.
Details:
- Material: steel, brass and leather of approximately 1.6 mm
- Chest circumference: approximately 105 - 126 cm
- Weight: approximately 6.05 kg
