This reconstruction is based on a Halsberge, which was made around 1480 by the German plattner Matthes Deutsch. The original belongs to the Royal Armouries and is on display at the Tower of London.

Made of 1.6 mm thick steel. The Halsberge includes the back plate, which is fixed on one side by means of a belt with adjustable size buckles. The three-piece chin guard is adjustable.
