The Viking knife with Damascus blade is an impressive handmade collector's item, designed to reflect the typical weapon used by Vikings during the Viking Age. Its blade is composed of 256 layers of Damascus steel, ensuring its durability and strength. In addition, this forging technique gives it a beautiful twisting pattern that makes it a unique piece.

The knife handle is made from a combination of wood and brass, with oversized brass wire inlays, giving it an authentic look. The collar of the hilt is also made from brass, to offer added elegance and sophistication to the piece.

This knife comes with a beautiful tanned leather sheath with ornate brass fittings that protects it when not in use. The suspension system consists of two carrying rings, an additional plain ring that serves as a strap divider, and three leather straps.

It is important to note that because the blade is fully sharpened and functional, this knife is intended as a collector's or decorative piece and is not suitable for combat recreation.

High carbon steel ensures greater hardness, better temperability and greater edge retention, while softer steel provides greater flexibility and tensile strength.
