The parazonium was an early Roman dagger originating in Ancient Greece. It was primarily used by Roman legion officers as a second weapon next to the sword (gladius) and is the precursor of the Pugios.
Our model has a blunt carbon steel blade and a wooden handle. The guard and pommel are made of brass.
A matching leather sheath with brass hardware is included.
