Rare finds of swords and daggers with handles and pommels designed in human form are known from various pan-European tribes and Celtic peoples. The rarity of these finds suggests that they were pompous weapons reserved only for high-ranking warriors.

The dagger offered here is modeled after these pieces and shows a stylized human figure. The (blunt) blade is made of carbon steel. A simple but stable leather sheath is included.
