The Scottish Dirk evolved from the reindeer dagger from across Europe and emerged in the form shown here in the late 16th century. The blade is long and single-edged, and has a rear edge in the tip area. In addition, the three grooves are offset towards the striking edge. The angled, riveted wooden handle is made of hardwood and feels good in the hand. The Scottish Dirk is delivered with a scabbard, which is equipped with a mouth plate and a flattened Ortblech. In addition, a carrying device can be attached to the scabbard.
