Viking Temple Sword

The Viking sword, also known as the Carolingian sword, was a sword used during the Middle Ages in Western and Northern Europe. This sword evolved from the Roman sword and was made during the Carolingian period, being used by the Franks.

This Viking temple sword is handcrafted with the typical tri-collar quillons and pommel made of steel. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap for a firmer grip. The blade, which continues to the pommel and is hand-riveted there, maintains its elasticity and lightness thanks to the pronounced groove it has.

The blade is forged from high-quality spring steel and hardened to approximately 48 HRC, giving it great strength and durability. The blade edge is not sharpened, making it safe to handle. The sword comes with a very beautiful wooden scabbard and leather with wooden handle, and it features a rich brass-decorated blade.

This is the regular version of the Viking sword, but you can also find a battle-ready version with a blunt blade and rounded tip, item number 0116696306.
