Sword of the Knights Templar (Militaris Templi), Practical Blunt, SK-B 0164000245

This beautiful Templar sword features a hardened steel blade that was tempered to a Rockwell hardness of approx. 48-50 HRC and bears the engraved inscription MILITARIS TEMPLI on one side and three crosses pattée on the other side. It is fully tang and riveted to the pommel. The wider badge extends almost to the tip of the blade, which not only provides great flexibility but also reduces the weight of the sword when held one-handed.

The cross guard is forged from steel and the leather-wrapped wooden grip is covered with a flat, disc-shaped steel pommel (or wheelknob) engraved on both sides with a Templar cross motif. The beautiful wooden-core scabbard is covered in leather and comes complete with a carry belt around it.

The 2mm thick blunt edges of the blade and rounded tip make this arming sword ideal for combat reenactment, stage fighting or sparring.
