This sword is a replica of an Italian sword from the 15th century. The original is now in the Museo Civico L. Mazzoli in Brescia, Italy. The production of the sword was also in the late medieval period, already in the handwork, because the blade came from a well-known blacksmith in southern Germany, Passau, and was in northern Italy, with the grip parts typical of the old Italian fashion mounted.
This battle-ready reconstruction is made exclusively by hand. The slightly curved forward guard and the octagonal pommel are made of hardened, malleable cast iron. Oil hardened to approximately 48-50 HRC spring steel blade passes through the pommel and is screwed there. The handle is leather-wrapped. The blade has a pronounced bevel that measures a good third of the blade length and gives the sword added elasticity and at the same time gives ease. The tip of the blade and the blade are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a beautiful leather covered wooden scabbard.
