With a 60 HRC on the ha and 40 HRC on the mune, the John Lee practice Katana has a hilt (tsuka) made of wood and validated with original stingray skin (Same). The hilts are wrapped in black cotton in traditional kind, and two Menukis were put on the hilts for a firmer grip. In addition, the handle has a particularly long length and fixed to the hilt with two bamboo pins (mekugi).

The scabbard (Saya) is made of wood and the manufacturing followed historical examples. All this creates a true work of art that any collector or sword enthusiast should have in their collection.
