The model of the tsuba, the piece that protects the user's hand, was created by a great master in the 18th century. The handle, or Tsuka, of the sword is crafted from wood and covered with real fish skin, providing exceptional texture and grip. The handle wrap, or Tsuka-Ito, is traditionally made from black cotton and features two menuki for exceptional grip. The handle weight is particularly long and is secured with two bamboo pins, known as Mekugi, ensuring excellent stability.

The sword's scabbard, or Saya, is also made from wood and features blade clamps made from brass. Additionally, the sword has been made using museum templates, ensuring that a meticulous and precise manufacturing process has been followed.

The overall length of the sword is approximately 104 cm, with a blade length of 74 cm and a handle length of 30 cm. The blade hardness is 52-55 on the Rockwell scale and it has a curvature, or Sori, of around 18-20 mm. The weight of the sword without a scabbard is approximately 1.04 kg and the weight with a scabbard is approximately 1.3 kg.
