Pugio of Vindonissa with silver inlays

A beautiful reconstruction of a Roman dagger that was very artistically designed and with great craftsmanship.
Both the riveted handle plates and the front plate of the scabbard are very intricately provided with silver inlays. The scabbard is made of wood, covered with leather and has the typical four riveted brass staples.
The blade has a total of four grooves. The blades are blunt.
The model of our replicas comes from the Roman fortress of Vindonissa, today Windisch, Switzerland.
At Knauf a trident, the symbol of the Roman sea god Neptune, is incorporated. It could be pointed out that the Pugio was originally made for an officer of the Roman naval forces.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
