First-class reconstruction of a typical Coolus helmet found at the ancient Roman camp near Haltern am See (Germany).
2000 years ago, one of the most important Roman military complexes was located on the right bank of the Rhine in Germania. One of the most famous legions was located there: the 19th Legion, which was completely destroyed in 9 AD at the Battle of Varus.
The original of this helmet therefore also dates back to the first post-Christian century and can be visited today in the Roman Museum in Haltern.
The helmet comes with a cotton cover.
