The Protagonists of Pokémon Delving into the world of Pokémon, it's impossible not to identify these two trainers.Ash Ketchum, the eternal apprentice from Pallet Town, the anime's protagonist, and Red, also known as Rojo, the protagonist of the video games and manga. But have you ever wondered about the similarities and differences between them?Here we'll get to know a bit about both so you can compare them. Ash Ketchum Satoshi, in Japan, is an anime character who has left a mark on the hearts of millions of fans since his appearance in 1997.He was born in Pallet Town. His mother, Delia Ketchum, is kind and optimistic, always supporting him, while of his father, only what she mentions at the beginning is known, revealing that it took him four days to reach Viridian City, suggesting a parallel with the path Ash would follow. His adventure began unconventionally: after oversleeping on the day of choosing his first Pokémon, he couldn't pick, and Professor Oak only had a rebellious Pikachu, a Pokémon that wasn't even one of the starters in his town.At first, Pikachu refused to obey him, but after Ash risked his life to protect him from a flock of Spearow, they formed an inseparable bond. The Professor, for his part, acts as his future mentor, offering him advice and support throughout his journey. The Former Hashira Just as we discussed the 9 current Hashira in other articles, we also believe it is necessary to mention those who, at one time, held that position. Although they ceased to be Hashira for various reasons, be it retirement or death, they were no less important. These individuals, though no longer part of the 9 Hashira, achieved that prestigious title and were part of this elite in their time. With stories marked by tragedy, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity, they left an indelible mark on the fight against demons, and we could not forget them. Below, we introduce the former Hashira. Kanae Kocho – Former Flower Hashira (Image of the Kanae figure) Kanae stood out for her kind and gentle nature, being one of the few demon slayers who managed to maintain her emotional stability despite the harshness of her work. She had an idealistic dream: a world where humans and demons could coexist in peace. As Shinobu and Kanao's older sister, she was a protective figure for both, caring for them and training them, imparting her knowledge and values. She was an exceptionally talented and powerful swordsman who, unlike her sister Shinobu, could decapitate demons thanks to her strength and stature. As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, her mastery of the "Flower Breathing" technique allowed her to face the Upper Rank Two demon, Doma. Although she succumbed in combat, she resisted until dawn, once again demonstrating her unwavering talent and determination. Her death was a tragedy that deeply affected her sisters, especially Shinobu, who took on her legacy and vowed to avenge her. Sakonji Urokodaki – Former Water Hashira (Image of the Sakonji Vol.24 figure) Known for his distinctive tengu mask, which he never removes, Sakonji was the creator of the "Water Breathing" style. During his years as a Hashira, he was a highly respected demon slayer. After retiring, he settled on Mount Sagiri, where he began teaching his technique to future demon slayers. However, after losing several of his apprentices in the Final Selection, he decided to stop training, at least until a former disciple, Giyu Tomioka, asked him to teach Tanjiro Kamado. He finally agreed. Despite his severe appearance and being a strict trainer, Sakonji is compassionate and protective. He showed his more human side by taking care of Nezuko while Tanjiro underwent arduous training, as well as during her participation in the Final Selection, thus offering her his support. It can be said that Sakonji was the starting point in Tanjiro's journey as a demon slayer. His legacy lives on through the techniques he taught, which are fundamental to many of today's best demon slayers. Jigoro Kuwajima – Former Thunder Hashira Jigoro was an exceptionally talented and powerful swordsman, master of "Thunder Breathing," and a former Hashira known for his wisdom, knowledge, and dedication. Although he had to retire due to his advanced age and injuries, he never lost his passion for training the new generation of demon slayers. He was a strong and experienced mentor, but he had a weakness: his paternal love for his disciples, a fact that did not prevent him from imposing strict training. Among his apprentices were Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku. The latter, however, betrayed the Demon Slayer Corps by joining the Twelve Demon Moons. Kaigaku's defection was a devastating blow for Jigoro, who, consumed by regret, decided to commit seppuku as a sign of atonement for not having been able to guide his student on the right path. Through Zenitsu, his legacy lives on. Zenitsu pushed his teachings to the limit and fought valiantly in honor of Jigoro, demonstrating that his master was a paternal figure who never stopped believing in the potential of his students. The legacies, values, and teachings of these former Hashira live on in the demon slayers who succeeded them.

It is the center of technological and scientific innovation.Its members collect data, develop spiritual tools, and store vital information for the Seireitei. 13th Division: Defensive Tactics and Protection Flower: Snowdrop Current Captain: Rukia Kuchiki.Former Captain: Jūshirō Ukitake. The 13th Division protects the entrance to the Soul Society and conducts regular patrols to identify threats. In case of danger, they organize Shinigami to defend the Seireitei, working in conjunction with other divisions. Each division with its unique functions, as well as exceptional leaders and members, is a vital part of the Gotei 13, playing an essential role in both the defense and balance of the worlds that make up the Bleach universe.And just as the captains leading each division have been mentioned, there are also prominent members in these, such as the lieutenants who provide support as the right hand of their respective captains, often succeeding them. The Beginning of a Legend Since its debut in 1996, Pokémon has become one of the most beloved and recognized franchises in the world. With video games, series, movies, cards, and millions of fans, it is not just an entertainment product: it is an experience that connects generations. But how did this world full of extraordinary creatures come about? What inspired its creation? Today we will journey to the origin of Pokémon, meet its creator, and explore the conceptualization method that brought this incredible saga to life. A Dream Born Among Insects and Video Games The origin of Pokémon begins with Satoshi Tajiri, a Japanese visionary born in Machida, a town on the outskirts of Tokyo, in 1965. From childhood, he showed an insatiable curiosity for nature and his greatest passion was catching insects in the fields and forests near his home, an activity that earned him the nickname "Dr. Bug" among his peers. However, not everything was easy for Tajiri: diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, he had difficulty socializing due to this condition, and instead of seeking comfort in other people, he found it in video games.Satoshi's passion for video games grew so much that he began to dismantle consoles to understand how they worked. At 16, he won a video game design competition, and years later, he founded Game Freak magazine with his friend Ken Sugimori, which would later evolve into a video game development company.It was this unique combination of love for nature and obsession with video games that planted the seed of Pokémon. From Insects to Pocket Creatures Inspired by the days he collected insects, Tajiri dreamed of a video game that would allow players to catch fantastic creatures, train them, and battle them. Thus, Pokémon was born, an abbreviation of "Pocket Monsters," a name that reflected the idea of always carrying a world full of amazing creatures with you. The project became a reality thanks to the support of Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario Bros and Tajiri's mentor. The result was the launch of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green in Japan in 1996 for the Game Boy console.In these games, the revolutionary idea of exchanging creatures between players via a link cable was implemented, fostering an active and connected community that quickly spread around the world. A Global Phenomenon: Beyond Video Games Pokémon's success was not limited to video games. In 1997, the first animated series premiered, starring Ash Ketchum (Satoshi, in Japan) and his companion, Pikachu. These cards not only offered strategic gameplay but were also collector's items that fans exchanged with the same enthusiasm Tajiri had for collecting insects. Tajiri and Sugimori worked with a creative team that sought to connect each creature with nature, culture, or myths and legends. For example:Bulbasaur combines elements of a reptile and a plant, symbolizing the symbiosis between plant and animal life.Magikarp is inspired by a legend about carp that swim against the current and transform into dragons, giving meaning to its evolution into Gyarados. In addition, there is the case of Pikachu, the iconic electric mouse, who was designed to be adorable, approachable, and recognizable, quickly becoming the face of the franchise. This approach has allowed Pokémon to be not only memorable but also meaningful, connecting with people of different ages and backgrounds. Pokémon Today: A Constantly Evolving Universe Today it boasts over 1,000 different creatures, dozens of video games, more than 20 movies, and an ongoing series. The phenomenon has transcended generations, uniting parents and children, friends, and entire communities. With innovations like Pokémon GO, which brought the experience to the real world through augmented reality, the franchise continues to reinvent itself, but always maintaining that original spirit: the desire to explore, collect, and connect. Three of Kimetsu's Nine Pillars The time has come to introduce you to the three Pillars that were missing from previous installments. If you haven't found your favorite Pillar yet, this is your chance. Before continuing, it's important to clarify that this grouping does not correspond to any relationship between the Pillars, neither by the breathing techniques they use, nor by their personal characteristics, such as strength or power. This selection has been made according to my own criteria. In the second part, I grouped the Pillars that reminded me of the most basic elements (fire, with the Flame Pillar; water, with the Water Pillar; and air, with the Wind Pillar), while the first three evoked other types of "elements" (mist, sound, and rock). In this last part, the selected Pillars evoke beings (the Serpent Pillar and the Insect Pillar) and emotions (the Love Pillar). Serpent Pillar - Obanai Iguro (Image of the Obanai Iguro Ver.B Q-Posket Figure) An exceptional fighter, even despite his physical limitations, such as blindness in one eye. He possesses a unique style: the "Serpent Breathing". Raised in an abusive environment and treated as a tool, Obanai developed a strict and distant personality, being very critical of other hunters. He is a skilled and determined fighter, capable of facing high-level demons and even Muzan himself. His commitment to the Demon Slayer Corps is reflected in his ability to sacrifice himself in combat and his unbreakable will. Although he usually appears cold to most, he has a deep appreciation for Mitsuri and Kagaya, who are his greatest emotional motivation. During the final battles, he overcomes his own resentments and reveals his more human side by protecting his comrades. His Demon Slayer Mark has patterns resembling three snakes, extending from his left arm to his chest. Insect Pillar - Shinobu Kocho (Image of the Shinobu Kocho Figure) She stands out for her ingenuity and unique fighting style, the "Insect Breathing," which combines speed and the use of poisons to compensate for her lack of physical strength. Behind her constant smile, Shinobu hides a deep anger towards demons, born from the losses she suffered, including that of her older sister, Kanae. Although she often adopts a mocking and even sadistic tone, she shows compassion towards the protagonists by understanding their stories and sufferings. Her dedication led her to collaborate in the development of a cure for Nezuko's demonic condition. In the battle against Douma, one of the Upper Ranks, her sacrifice reflects her unwavering commitment to the Demon Slayer Corps. Her bravery and determination make her an unforgettable character. Love Pillar - Mitsuri Kanroji (Image of the Mitsuri Figure) Mitsuri stands out for her superhuman strength, incredible flexibility, and unique swordsmanship skills. She is the creator of "Love Breathing," an elegant and lethal fighting style that allows her to face high-level demons. Despite her sweetness and shyness, Mitsuri demonstrates great determination and bravery in combat. She sets aside her compassionate nature when necessary to protect those she cherishes. Although she was once rejected for her strength and appearance, she found her place by becoming a demon slayer, where she was accepted by her comrades. Her relationship with Obanai Iguro adds an emotional dimension to her character. Both protect each other, and Mitsuri constantly fights to prove that she is not a burden, but a valuable piece within the team.
