10 - Hyorinmaru
In the Zanpakuto universe, no blade is as impressive as Hyorinmaru, the weapon entrusted to Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya.
This remarkable sword manifests as an ice dragon, but what is most surprising is how its powers grow along with its wielder, mirroring Toshiro's personal growth.
In his Shikai form, Hyorinmaru is already a force to be reckoned with. But when his Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru, is unleashed, his power soars to new heights. Now, he can freeze moisture from the air, erect ice prisons, and even create ice duplicates that serve as strategic distractions, protecting Toshiro from attacks aimed directly at him.

9 - Benihime
Kisuke Urahara, the former captain of the 12th Division and a respected scientist of the Soul Society, is noted for his innovative experiments, much like Mayuri.
When released in its Shikai form, Benihime, Urahara's Zanpakuto, radiates a red aura under its control.
However, it is with her Bankai that Benihime reveals her true potential. This power grants Urahara the ability to reshape anything she touches. This versatility allows her to both repair and damage objects at will. From healing to dismantling, Urahara has complete control over her surroundings thanks to her Bankai.
8 - Minazuki
Minazuki, known as the “Flesh Drop Cannon,” emerges as an elongated katana in its sealed state, reminiscent of the majestic aodachi. Its oval tsuba and red hilt give it a distinctive and memorable appearance.
Retsu Unohana takes a unique approach with her Tachi combat style, carrying Minazuki over her shoulder via a strap or delegating the task of carrying her to Isane, rather than securing her to her obi.
In her Shikai form, Minazuki transforms into a huge, green, stingray-like creature that serves as her means of transportation. Her most notable ability lies in healing: those wounded that are placed in her mouth are absorbed and stored in her stomach, where the gastric acid acts as a powerful healing remedy, gradually healing her wounds.
Upon releasing her Bankai, Unohana's Zanpakutō turns into a thick, dark red fluid that flows around her. This liquid solidifies, forming a short katana, ready for combat.
The fluid produced by Minazuki acts as an incredibly potent acid, quickly dissolving even physically robust fighters such as Kenpachi Zaraki upon contact with their bodies. In a tactical strategy, Unohana combines this corrosive substance with her formidable Kidō skills to speed up the process of Kenpachi's death and resurrection, hoping to remove the mental block hindering his powers.
7 - Nozarashi
Nozarashi, like its wielder, embodies a powerful and direct force that is easy to understand. This sword grants Kenpachi Zaraki even more destructive potential than he already possesses naturally.
When Nozarashi is released in his Shikai phase, he gains impressive size and strength, capable of penetrating space itself.
Kenpachi's Bankai transforms him into a demon-like creature, endowed with even greater strength and speed. His skin turns red and he is driven by primal instincts and a voracious thirst for blood.
6 - Senbonzakura
The one who wields the Senbonzakura sword is Byakuya Kuchiki, the captain of the Gotei 6's sixth division and the prominent 13th leader of the Kuchiki Clan.
This sword possesses a unique characteristic: it can break down into a thousand tiny leaves that evoke the image of delicate cherry blossoms. So tiny are these leaves that they are invisible to the naked eye, only revealing a subtle pinkish hue when refracted by light. Byakuya exercises complete control over each of these swords.
In its most advanced Bankai forms, the number of blades is multiplied significantly, opening the way to even more powerful techniques, such as gokei, also known as the "throat scenes".
5 - Katen Kyokotsu
The Katen Kyokotsu sword rests in the hands of the current Captain Commander of the Gotei 13, Shunsui Kyoraku. Shunsui also holds the title of Captain of the 1st Division and former Captain of the 8th Division, a notable distinction in the structure of the Gotei 13.
The special ability of this sword lies in its ability to force those within the range of Shunsui's spiritual pressure to participate in what he calls "the game."
Shunsui has the power to set the specific rules of this game, and during his confrontation with Coyote Stark, he deploys a variety of rules. When he releases his Bankai, he transports his opponent to a gloomy, brooding place, where he subjects them to damage in four distinct "acts", thus marking the course of the battle.
4 - Zangetsu
This is Ichigo's Zanpakuto, and its simplicity is remarkable. Similar to Kenpachi's, this sword enhances both Ichigo's speed and strength.
During combat, Zangetsu absorbs Ichigo's spiritual energy, condenses it, and then releases it in the form of concentrated energy from his sword. Ichigo often channels this into his famous attack, Getsuga Tensho.
With Tensa Zangetsu, his Bankai, these enhancements reach a new level. He becomes more agile, powerful, and durable. Using Getsuga Tensho with Tensa Zangetsu becomes potent enough to pose a significant threat even to Yhwach, the most powerful character in Bleach.
3 - Kyoka Suigetsu
This is Ichigo's Zanpakuto, and its simplicity is remarkable. Similar to Kenpachi's, this sword enhances both Ichigo's speed and strength.

2 - Ryujin Jakka
The powerful fire refers to the Zanpakuto wielded by the former Captain Commander of the Gotei 13, Genryusai Yamamoto.
With a simple command, the flames of Yamamoto's sword are unleashed, capable of reducing to ashes anything that stands in its path.
Ryujin Jakka's flames burn with unmatched ferocity, enveloping Yamamoto's surroundings and consuming everything in their path. In his Bankai form, Zanka no Tachi, all of the flames are concentrated in his sword. Everything he touches with it is devoured by the burning fire, leaving no trace, not even ash.
The power of Zanka no Tachi's flames is so immense that they can even evaporate the moisture from anything within the range of Yamamoto's spiritual pressure.
1 - Ichimonji
When comparing Ryujin Jakka and Ichimonji, the debate still arises as to which of the two deserves the title of most powerful Zanpakuto.
In his Shikai form, Ichimonji, under Ichibe's command, releases ink with every blow. Anything this ink touches loses its name, and with it, its power. Ichibe's unique ability comes from darkness; when Ichimonji is unleashed, all darkness in the universe, whether living or inanimate, becomes his force.
The abilities unleashed by Ichimonji can be usurped, but attackers cannot use them against Ichibe, as he controls all the dark elements in the universe.
Ichibe possesses a formidable Bankai, where his spilled dark ink can erase a person's existence by manipulating their fate.
