Excitement has been in the air for fans of Kimetsu no Yaiba since it was announced that the final arc of this iconic series would not be adapted into that format, but rather, aiming much higher, would be developed into a trilogy of films.
This official announcement came after the airing of the final episode of the Hashira Training Arc in Japan and the series' social media accounts confirmed that the story of Tanjiro, Nezuko and their friends would not conclude with a simple episode, but would expand through three films that will adapt the Infinity Castle Arc, which has increased expectations, especially after the success of the previous film, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, which broke box office records worldwide.
Furthermore, it is being produced by Ufotable, a studio known for its exceptional animation work and for elevating the quality of modern anime, in collaboration with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, which promises to bring it to theaters around the world, also ensuring a memorable and visually stunning experience.

While the first installment is expected in 2025, the exact date is currently unknown. However, a recent leak in Germany seems to indicate that it will premiere on September 25 of this year.
This news has left fans anxious, especially after an apparent previous leak mentioning September 12 was dismissed.
But where did these dates come from?
While the origin of the previous rumor could not be confirmed, something different is happening with this new "leaked" date.
A listing from German cinema chain CineStar revealed an "untitled movie event," which corresponds to a production from Sony, Crunchyroll, and Aniplex, all associated with Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, leading to speculation that it is the aforementioned film.
Furthermore, even if there's no official confirmation, the leaked synopsis seems to fit perfectly with the plot of the final arc, so perhaps fans of this story should start preparing for that day.
September could be reasonable considering that its release in Japan has been confirmed for July 18th , however, its arrival in the rest of the world could well occur in August, a month earlier than the leak suggests. Additionally, it's important to keep in mind that, if a global release date outside of Japan isn't scheduled, its arrival in Spain could differ from its premiere in Germany and other countries, which could influence the almost two-month difference with respect to its launch in Japan.
First Trailer: A Glimpse into the Future
