It is remarkable how "Oppenheimer" has swept the board, receiving awards of great interest and merit, including the Oscar for best film and its director, Christopher Nolan, receiving the Oscar for best director.
Another cinematographic work that has had great success has been the previously mentioned "The Zone of Interest" and that despite the filial discrepancies that it may cause for "snatching" the award from "The Snow Society" must be valued equally, receiving the Oscar for Best International Film and the Oscar for Best Sound.

Also worthy of mention is the film "Poor Creatures", receiving the no less important awards for Best Production Design, Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Regarding "The Snow Society" , its director, Bayona, mentions that from the beginning they were aware of the difficulty of receiving the Oscar and that they are nevertheless satisfied, having received very positive reviews about the film and even a note from Scorsese himself mentioning that he liked the film a lot, congratulating him on the quality of the project. Likewise, Bayona himself mentioned the very high quality of the competing film.
