This is the swordplay from The Last Samurai that Tom Cruise used in the movie of the same name.

Now that decorative versions of this katana have been in circulation for a long time, this is now the first truly sharp hand-forged sword from "The Last Samurai"!

The blades have been polished to a razor-sharp edge, so nothing stands in the way of a cutting test with an authentic Last Samurai Katana. The blade is held in the handle by 2 mekugi. The handle was wrapped in silk and underneath the wrapping are 2 very nice menuki.

The mounts are made of blackened iron and feature wave motifs. The blades are made of high-quality carbon steel with an indicated hardness line. Just behind the habaki there is an engraving of Japanese characters on the blade. These mean something like: "The supreme duty of the samurai is eternal worship and loyal devotion, his utmost will to fight for his emperor."

This set comes with a quality stand and sword care kit.
