The Blood of Dawnwalker Arrives: A Game to Imme...

A Date Marked on the Calendar On September 3, 2026, The Blood of Dawnwalker, the new action RPG developed by Rebel Wolves—a studio formed by former members of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt team—will officially arrive. It will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, offering a setting in medieval Europe dominated by plague, conflict, and a supernatural threat. The project has garnered significant interest among genre fans due to the creators' track record and a setting that combines dark fantasy elements with a vampire-centric story. Its release marks one of the most anticipated RPG launches of 2026. The Game and Its Features When Night Falls The adventure places the player in 14th-century Europe, a period marked by disease, wars, and deep social tensions. In this context, Coen appears, a young man whose life changes after becoming a Dawnwalker, a creature that combines human and vampiric characteristics. The transformation will have consequences during the game and will be linked to the available abilities. The protagonist can confront enemies using conventional weapons, but will also have vampiric powers that offer new possibilities during combat. The day-night cycle takes on special importance, as Coen's supernatural abilities are affected by different conditions depending on the time of day the player is in. Therefore, progressing through the environment requires considering more than just the enemies in one's path. The Clock Also Counts The open world of The Blood of Dawnwalker is structured around an idea that directly affects the adventure: available time. Coen must try to achieve his objectives as the clock advances, a circumstance that can influence decisions made during the game. One of his main goals will be to save his family, but reaching that point will depend on the actions taken throughout the journey, as decisions can alter certain events and offer different ways to advance the story. This mechanic introduces constant pressure on exploration. Spending time discovering new areas, completing specific situations, or following a particular path might mean postponing other opportunities. Three Ways to Begin The launch will feature different editions. The Standard Edition will include only the game, while other versions will add physical and digital content such as a Steelbook, map, comic, soundtrack, compendium, and a Coen figure for the collector's edition. From a technical standpoint, there will also be significant new features for console players. From its launch, The Blood of Dawnwalker will incorporate a performance mode targeting 60 FPS on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X, in addition to configurations for 30 and 40 FPS. Rebel Wolves' RPG will thus arrive on the announced platforms with a supernatural medieval adventure where every decision offers results that can change the course of events, providing a true immersive experience in the story. It's not just about postponing decisions, but about choosing priorities through which each player can determine their own path.

Funko: The Origin of the Figures That Revolutio...

The story behind a design that conquered the world When a person sees a figure with a large, somewhat cubist head and a small body, they are very likely to think of a Funko. These figures have become an icon of popular culture thanks to their simple and easily recognizable design.Unlike traditional figures, they do not aim to faithfully reproduce a character, but rather to capture their essence with a unique style that today brings to life thousands of characters from movies, series, anime, comics, video games, music, and much more. The origin of Funko The story began in 1998, when American Mike Becker founded the company Funko with the intention of manufacturing figures inspired by classic characters from popular culture. The first model was Big Boy, the mascot of a well-known American restaurant chain, although that figure did not yet have the appearance we associate with a Funko today; instead, it was a bobblehead, a doll with a movable head that wobbled on a spring. The big change came in 2010, when a new concept of figure with a completely different aesthetic emerged. The idea was very simple: to create characters with a head much larger than the body, very simple black eyes, and few facial features, so that anyone could recognize them at a glance. What characterizes a Funko? Funko figures stand out for the characteristics already mentioned: their disproportionately large head, small body, and simple facial features, where hair, clothing, and accessories take center stage. Thanks to this design, they manage to represent very different characters without losing their essence, as small details like a sword, glasses, or a hat are enough to recognize them instantly. Not all Funko figures have the same design Although many people think that all Funko figures are the same, the reality is that there are different styles within the brand itself. The best known are those with very large, almost square heads, which have become the most representative image of Funko. However, there are also figures with slightly rounder heads, larger models, miniature versions, and even figures with slightly more balanced proportions, though always maintaining the characteristic cartoonish style of the brand. In addition, some figures incorporate special bases, dioramas, vehicles, lighting effects, or metallic finishes that differentiate them from the standard design. What makes a Funko more valuable? Not all figures have the same importance. Several factors can increase their value over time. One of the main factors is the number of units manufactured. The more limited an edition, the harder it will be to find. When a figure stops being produced, its availability also decreases, which influences its value. The represented character is another crucial factor. Protagonists from well-known franchises, emblematic characters, or special versions tend to generate greater interest. Added to all this are the condition, the presence of the original box, and, occasionally, small manufacturing errors that turn a figure into a rare piece. Funko figure brands Although many people use the word Funko to refer to any figure of this style, the company has actually developed different lines with their own characteristics. The best known is Funko Pop!, which popularized the design with a large head, small body, and minimalist features that now identifies the brand worldwide. Over the years, other lines also appeared, such as Funko Vinyl SODA, with a style inspired by old bobblehead dolls; Bitty Pop!, miniature versions of the classic design; Funko Gold, mainly dedicated to athletes and musicians with more realistic proportions; and Funko Mystery Minis, small surprise figures with a more cartoonish finish. A design that became an icon Few figures have managed to create such a recognizable visual identity as Funko. Just by seeing a silhouette with a disproportionately large head, oval eyes, and a small body, one can immediately identify this type of figure. This simplicity, combined with the ability to adapt practically any character to the same style, explains why Funko has gone from being a different idea to becoming a true icon of popular culture, managing to summarize the personality of each character in an instantly recognizable figure.

Coyote vs. Acme's Rescue: The Movie Coming to T...

A Film That Was Almost Not Released Shot in 2022, the Looney Tunes movie was shelved by Warner Bros. before reaching theaters after its scheduled 2023 release was postponed.Three years later, many fans who had eagerly awaited its premiere still hoped to see it on the big screen. Thanks to them, who raised their voices to save it, it is now being released in Cinemas. While Warner Bros. believed the release would not cover the costs of its production and promotion, making it more profitable to simply consider it a loss and cancel it so they could recover part of their investment through tax deductions, fans still saw a future for it and began demanding its release. This led to the distribution rights being put up for sale, and Ketchup Entertainment finally acquired them for about $50 million, approximately $20 million less than its production cost. Thus, the film ended up in the hands of this new distributor, who prepared its release, assuming the risks involved. This is how Coyote vs. Acme, the recently talked-about film directed by Dave Green and starring Will Forte, John Cena, and the Looney Tunes' Coyote, voiced by Eric Bauza, will finally see the light of day after three years of waiting, hitting the big screen this August 27th, thanks to Ketchup Entertainment and the support of thousands of fans worldwide who raised their voices to make it happen. How Did Fans Prevent It From Being Forgotten? The campaign to get Coyote vs. Acme released began to gain traction when a fan dressed as Wile E. Coyote appeared in front of Warner Bros. facilities in Los Angeles. In the rain and with a sign asking for the film to be released, his protest garnered attention on social media and brought renewed focus to a production that had been shelved for years. The protest resonated with other fans and crew members, who began publicly demanding Warner Bros. release the film. Social media was flooded with hashtags promoting the movie's release. The pressure grew and ultimately influenced the studio's decision to put the rights up for sale so another company could distribute it. In this way, Coyote vs. Acme was able to leave the Warner Bros. archives and begin its journey towards a theatrical release. What is Coyote vs. Acme About? After years of suffering the effects of ACME products while chasing the Road Runner, the Coyote decides to take the company to court, and to do so, he enlists Kevin Avery, a lawyer played by Will Forte. On the other side of the courtroom is Buddy Crane, ACME's legal representative, played by John Cena. The legal conflict stems from one of the most well-known situations in cartoons: the ACME products the Coyote uses to catch the Road Runner always backfire on him. However, it seems ACME will not hesitate to protect its market position and get off scot-free from the lawsuit by any means necessary. The film mixes live-action and animation, bringing back several Looney Tunes characters, including Pepe Le Pew, the famous French skunk who was removed from the screen after criticism accusing him of harassment due to his exaggerated demonstrations of love and clumsy attempts at conquest. Dave Green directed this cinematic adaptation, based on a satirical text by Ian Frazier, published in the American magazine The New Yorker. The Celebration of a Long-Awaited Release The film's creators have publicly thanked the fans for their support over the years, demanding its theatrical release, as their campaign kept alive interest in a production that seemed destined to remain in obscurity. Now, everything rests with the audience and their response and box office support, which will determine if it's a huge success that almost fell into oblivion, or if Warner Bros. was right not to risk it. However, its success or failure will not only determine the history of this film: If Coyote vs. Acme performs well, Warner Bros. and other studios might reconsider the fate of other shelved productions and consider releasing them in theaters instead of keeping them out of circulation, while a poor box office, conversely, could make it difficult for other shelved projects to find a similar opportunity. But expectations are good, and the reception so far has been extremely promising.

Return to Hogwarts: The new Harry Potter series...

The new TV adaptation that will bring magic back to Hogwarts Hogwarts opens its doors once again. They say some stories never truly leave; they just wait for the right moment to be retold. J.K. Rowling's magical world is one of them. Now, that return is real: Warner Bros. Discovery is preparing a new Harry Potter series for HBO, expected to premiere around 2027. But this time, there will be no rush or cut footage. The promise is clear: to tell the story as in the books, with time, detail… and without losing anything along the way. A slower, more complete Hogwarts, designed to last for years The idea is simple, yet ambitious: seven seasons, seven books. A complete journey through Hogwarts, from young Harry's arrival to the end of the grand story. However, within the industry, there's already talk of something even bigger: a project that could span nearly a decade, with seasons potentially extended or divided depending on the development of each book.   Production will begin at the mythical Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, where the original films were already shot. That is, the same ground, but a completely new way of telling the story.   Behind the scenes, Francesca Gardiner will serve as showrunner, and Mark Mylod will direct several episodes. Their experience in intense dramas has led many to expect a more mature, emotional, and profound version of the magical world.   The new cast: excitement, nostalgia, and debate The doors are opening again at Hogwarts Castle, but the faces are changing. For the main roles (Harry, Hermione, and Ron), young actors are being sought in the UK and Ireland, with open castings looking for new faces, not well-known stars.   But there are already confirmed names that have ignited conversation. John Lithgow will be the new Dumbledore, Janet McTeer will play McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu will bring Severus Snape to life. And this is where magic mixes with controversy. Snape, the character who has generated the most debate Severus Snape is one of the most complex characters in the entire saga. In the books, his appearance is very specific: sallow skin, a hooked nose, a dark look, and an uncomfortable, almost unsettling presence. Therefore, the choice of Paapa Essiedu has divided fans.   One part of the audience criticizes that the actor does not physically match the original description and fears that this change will alter how the character is understood, especially his history of bullying at Hogwarts, where his appearance played an important role, and his relationship with the Marauders.   Others go further and believe that the change could alter the subtext of the story, introducing racial interpretations that were not in the books.   But, on the other side of the conversation, many argue the opposite: that Snape is a character of interpretation, not appearance; that what matters is the acting, not exact physical fidelity; and that limiting casting based on literal traits impoverishes the adaptation.   Even actors from the original cast, such as Jason Isaacs, have criticized the negative reaction of some fans, defending the creative freedom of the project, although part of the audience considers that this creative freedom contradicts the initial promise of making an adaptation extremely faithful to the novels.   A new vision of the magical world The new Harry Potter series is not just a remake. It is a complete re-reading of the magical world, with more time, more depth, and new creative decisions. Between fidelity to the books and modern reinterpretation, the project walks a delicate line. And there lies precisely its magic... and also its risk.

The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 already ha...

The Highly Anticipated Season 3 Premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City Fans of The Walking Dead universe already have a date circled in red. The third season of The Walking Dead: Dead City is not only a reality, but it already has confirmed premiere dates in the United States and Spain, and promises to once again place Maggie and Negan at the center of a story full of tension, survival, and impossible decisions on the devastated island of Manhattan.   AMC has confirmed that the series will return on July 26, 2026, in the United States, available via AMC and AMC+, while in Spain the premiere will arrive with virtually no wait, on July 27, 2026, exclusively on AMC+. A minimal difference that reinforces the network's strategy to keep international fans almost at the same pace as the American audience. A More Hostile Manhattan and an Alliance That Is Never Not Fragile The new season picks up the story after the events of the second installment, with Maggie and Negan forced to move forward in an environment where surviving is no longer enough: now they must also build something akin to a community amidst the chaos.   But Manhattan offers no respite. Between new enemies, internal conflicts, and the constant threat of walkers, the relationship between both characters is once again pushed to the limit. Their story, marked by the past, continues to evolve in a direction as unpredictable as it is dangerous, where every decision can change everything.   The first trailer already points to a more intense and ambitious season: more action, more confrontations, and an even greater presence of walkers in a setting that becomes increasingly oppressive. Added to this are new conflicts between communities that heighten the sense of constant instability on the island.   Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan return once again as Maggie and Negan, two key figures within The Walking Dead universe whose dynamic remains one of the series' greatest emotional drivers. The Return of Dead City: One of AMC's Big Bets for Summer 2026 Although AMC is still keeping much of the plot under wraps, everything indicates that this third season of Dead City aims to go a step further in narrative ambition, further expanding the universe created by Robert Kirkman and consolidating the spin-off as one of the franchise's most solid.   With a premiere set for July 27 in Spain, the series positions itself as one of the great television events of summer 2026 for fans of the zombie genre. It's not just the return of two iconic characters: it's the continuation of a story that continues to explore how far humanity can go when everything else has fallen apart.   And while AMC maintains the mystery about the saga's future, Dead City returns with the promise of what it does best: constant tension, survival at the limit, and characters forced to confront both the dead and their own ghosts.
