La historia de la película Lobo es un shinobi que encuentra a Kuro después de haber sido rescatado del campo de batalla. El joven pertenece a un linaje especial y posee la Sangre del Dragón, un poder vinculado directamente con la inmortalidad. La relación entre ambos se convierte en el eje de la historia. Los enemigos de Kuro quieren hacerse con el poder de su sangre y Lobo debe protegerle mientras atraviesan un territorio dominado por la guerra y las luchas entre clanes.
