Katana Bushido Hanwei

Bushido, also known as the "Way of the Warrior", is the set of codes of conduct that all samurai were required to follow. Hanwei has designed a katana that upholds this tradition and is known as the Hanwei Bushido Katana.

The blade of the Bushido Katana is hand forged using K120C powdered steel, which is folded and has a medium length (chu) kissaki. The total length of the katana is approximately 101.6 cm, while the length of the blade is about 69.2 cm. The weight of the katana is approximately 1191 g, with a focus of approximately 14 cm in front of the stop. The width of the blade at Parler is approximately 3.1 cm, while the width of the blade at the top is 2.4 cm. The thickness of the blade at Parler is 7 mm, while the thickness of the tip blade is approximately 5 mm.

The black lacquered saya adorned with brass cherry blossoms is very appealing to the eye. In addition, the stingray skin used on the tsuka (katana handle) is of high quality and durable, making the grip comfortable and secure. The tsuba, blackened and bronzed with gold and silver details, depicts a battle scene and adds an interesting and decorative touch to the katana. The tsuka-ito and sageo, woven from high-quality Japanese cotton, are also impressive in their aesthetics.

The fuchi and kashira, blackened with brass details, kojiri, koiguchi and kurikata made of polished horn, along with the habaki made from a single piece of brass, are details that show the attention to detail in the production of the katana.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
