Choose options
This beautiful reconstruction of a 13th century Templar dagger is named after Jacques de Molay (1240/1250 – 1314), the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar (also known as the Order of the Temple of Solomon or the Order of Christ ).
The Molay dagger has a hardened, tempered and tempered EN45 spring steel blade with unsharpened edges and a pointed tip. The full tang of the blade is threaded to the pommel. The wooden core hilt is tightly bound in black leather and covered with a thick, sturdy disc-shaped steel pommel (or wheelknob) adorned on both sides with a Templar cross. The cleverly crafted steel guard is 12cm long, 0.6cm thick and features twisted and flared quillons with cross-shaped cut-outs.
This high medieval cross dagger comes complete with a wood and leather scabbard with steel collar, chape and hinged suspension rings. The cross motif with trefoil ends adorning the pierced guard and pommel is repeated on the viewing side of the scabbard's reliquary.
Please note that this medieval dagger is not a battle-ready weapon. It is intended as a collector's or decoration/display piece and is not suitable for combat reenactment. In addition to its quality as a collector's item, it is also perfectly suited as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
