The coveted three-cornered hat knob was also replaced by a Brazil-shaped nut. This change continued until the swords began to look more and more like the long swords of the Middle Ages.

This faithful replica of a Viking sword of the period shows the changes that took place in Viking swords as they evolved. This sword has replaced the three-cornered knob with a Brasi-shaped nut and a short, thick guard to conform to the thinner, more extended, and classic medieval cross shape. The blade is continuous up to the knob and hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap, which makes it comfortable and easy to hold. The pronounced groove on the blade gives the sword great elasticity and lightness at the same time.

While this sword has a medieval design, it has been adjusted to modern demands by using high-quality materials. The blade material is an EN45 spring steel, hardened to approximately 48 HRC. The overall length of the sword is approximately 95 cm, while the blade length is approximately 79.5 cm. Furthermore, the maximum width of the blade is approximately 55 mm, giving the sword an imposing and robust look.

This sword also comes with a beautiful wooden leather scabbard with a wooden handle as a belt loop. The scabbard is beautifully decorated with brass pieces that make it even more eye-catching.
