The SH1212 Bushido Tanto from Hanwei is a magnificent example of the tradition and legacy of Bushido codes of conduct that have been passed down from samurai to samurai over the centuries. The Bushido Tanto's blade is hand forged from K120C powdered steel and folded to create a strong and durable blade that is able to withstand the wear and tear of combat. The Saya is lacquered and features beautiful brass cherry blossom (Sakura) inlays, which adds an elegant touch to its finish. The Tsuka is made from gilded brass with raised decorations to complement the rest of the hilt. Additionally, the Sageo is woven from high-quality Japanese cotton to ensure a firm and comfortable grip during combat.

The Kojiri, Koiguchi and kurikata are made of polished horn. And the Habaki, an essential piece that is placed between the blade and the hilt to ensure a proper grip and protect the blade, is made of a single piece of brass.
