Unlike other dueling swords, the Thompson sabre is focused on the cutting edge, meaning it offers more opportunities to defend, parry, counterattack, and move without being pierced at a careless second. Because of this, it is an excellent choice both on foot and on horseback. The sabre is primarily designed for slashing, but it also makes a good thrusting weapon.

The Thompson sabre blade is made from 1055 carbon steel, making it a very stable material that is free of the brittleness inherent in most high carbon steels. This steel is ideal for large fixed knives, machetes, and swords used for chopping.

The blade is sanded to Lynn's exact specifications. Starting from the tip, the first 15 cm are razor-sharp. Then, the blade will gradually become less sharp towards the handle. Therefore, it remains strong enough to effectively block, parry, or even strike the opponent's sword. In addition, the blade is deeply blued, meaning that it is not only better protected against corrosion, but is also harder to see in the frenetic pace of battle.

The Thompson sabre also features a modified guard blade from the 1904 sabre's guard blade which offers excellent hand protection. The large handle is wrapped in stingray skin and even offers enough room for large, modern fencing gloves. The blade has a length of approximately 81.3 cm and a thickness of approximately 8 mm, while the total length of the sabre is approximately 95.9 cm.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used.
