The SRK® (Survival Rescue Knife) has been one of the established flagship products of the Cold Steel® range for over 25 years. This fixed knife is hugely popular with the US Military and remains the standard issue knife of the Navy SEALS for their combat swimmer training.
When Cold Steel® commissioned custom knifemaker Andrew Demko to develop a new luxury tactical knife for military use, he took inspiration from the iconic SRK®.

The SR1 and SR1 Tanto are characterized by Andrew’s signature minimalist style. They have no unnecessary frills and simply impress with their purely functional, straightforward and functional design. The durable blades made from top-class American CPM S35VN powder-coated steel are designed for rough use. Both are heavy-duty workhorses designed to withstand the toughest and most unforgiving environments.

Since a good knife also includes a good handle, the SR1’s handle scales are made of high-quality G-10. Heat-treated steel pieces are inserted into the handle scales (so-called nested liners ). The handle is equipped with an integrated lanyard cord, has a rough-textured surface that offers optimal grip even in cold or wet conditions, and is masterfully contoured to ensure a comfortable and secure grip, even when wearing thick gloves.

Cold Steels® world-renowned Tri-Ad® locking mechanism ensures increased operational safety and secure use. This locking mechanism, which is still unparalleled in terms of shock and impact resistance and has repeatedly proven itself capable of withstanding the toughest tests, makes the SR1 the ideal survival and rescue knife.

CPM-S35VN steel
This is an extraordinary American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely tough and durable, but can also be ground very well to razor sharpness and maintain this sharpness for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers long-lasting and good properties: durable, reliable, highly resistant to corrosion, tough and hard even with finely ground cutting edges. A good, versatile steel for high-quality knives and tools.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used.
