Ancient Egyptian Curved Sword, Black This beautiful reconstruction of an Ancient Egyptian Chepesch sword (also known as a Khopesh ) has a blade made of untempered EN45 spring steel with a black finish and decorative brass fittings. The cutting edge (on the convex side of the blade) is not sharpened. The hilt is made of lacquered wood, the guard and pommel are made of brass. The blade and hilt are decorated with stylized snake motifs. The snake, especially the so-called uraeus snake (a rearing cobra), was a widespread ancient Egyptian symbol of royal and divine authority, which was also closely connected with the concept of the afterlife.

It should be noted that this sword is not suitable for display combat. It is designed as a collector's item or decorative object and is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume.
