This Damascus steel sword from the Vendel period is a treasure you can't pass up. This scene dates back to the 7th/8th century when Sweden was ruled by powerful chieftains, nobles and elite warriors. This sword is an exact recreation of an archaeological find excavated from a ship grave near Uppsala, Sweden.

The sword is a classic example of a Nordic weapon , with a double-edged blade forged from Damascus steel. The guard and pommel of the hilt have been crafted from etched and antiqued brass to give it an authentic Vendel period look. The hilt is wrapped in brown leather which gives it the comfort you need when holding it.

The sword comes with a brown leather and wooden scabbard with a wooden suspension loop and antique brass fittings. Rest assured, this sword is not meant for battle, which gives it the status of a unique collector's item. In addition, it also fits perfectly as an accessory in a costume.

The blade of the sword has a width of about 5 cm and a length of 73 cm with a thickness of 4 mm. The balance point is located about 13 cm from the guard, which makes it balance on the handle evenly.
