DescriptionEpic Armoury's collodion is the non-flexible form of collodion, a syrupy solution made of pyroxylin in an ether and alcohol solvent. This rigid collodion is ideal for theatrical makeup effects, including:
- scars,
- wrinkles and
- burns
Instructions for use:
Apply a thin layer of collodion onto fleshy skin and let it dry completely. You will feel the collodion tighten, pull, and pucker the skin where it is applied. The looser the skin, the more dramatic an effect you can achieve! It is especially noticeable on the cheeks and can be applied in multiple dry layers to obtain deeper lines.
Add to the look with some water-based makeup by adding a bit of pink for a fresh scar or brown for an old one. Use powder to remove any lasting shine and finish with a setting spray.
Removal:
Repeated application of rigid collodion in the same spot can cause skin damage and real scarring. Safely remove the dried film using Collodion Remover and cotton balls. Soak the cotton balls in the oily remover and wipe over the collodion effect until it gently peels off.IMPORTANT NOTE: Be careful when applying collodion to avoid the eyes and mouth. Apply in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from open flames, as this product is highly flammable.
