You beat your sword against your rounded shield, shouting alongside your legionaries outside the gates of Syracuse. Inside, its people are filled with terror, deafened by the trumpets and noise of your army. Arrows rain down and you and your fellow soldiers form a barrier with your shields.

There is nothing that can stop you. The design of your shield allows you to stand in close formation, advancing on your defenders and dispatching them quickly. Even if an arrow makes its way through the cracks, your Roman Legion armor will keep you fully protected.

DETAILS

The Roman Legion Armor from Epic Armoury is a flexible plate cuirass inspired by the lorica segmentata worn by ancient Roman infantry. The Roman Legion protects the torso and abdomen with overlapping vertical laminae. Large cauldrons protect the shoulders and upper arms while providing additional protection to the armpits and upper chest.

Secure the Roman Legion armour by tightening the leather strap across the chest and tying the leather cord through brass fittings at the front of the abdomen. Made from 1mm thick polished mild steel and top grain leather straps, this piece of armour is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or re-enactment with regular care of leather and metal armour.

HISTORY

• Known as lorica segmentata in Latin, used by the Roman Legions
• Used during the golden age of the Roman Empire
• It was replaced during the 3rd century due to economic problems and a fundamental change in Roman military tactics.
• It is usually worn with a spear, a large shield, a helmet and sometimes chain mail.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to the specifications requested by the buyer or clearly personalized, except for manufacturing defects or errors. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the workload at that time.

You can cancel the purchase contract you entered into in our online store by sending an email within the period indicated above.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the Customer .
