Chainmail Cap

This chainmail cap is made according to the "international" pattern.

From the Celts of 300 BC to the 18th century in Asia, chainmail was one of the most prized items a warrior could own. The "enemy of swords" probably derived the name "mail" from the Latin "macula" meaning net. This shirt features 16 gauge links in the "international" pattern, with 4 links across a fifth, which is common to all European chainmail.

Faithfully copied from examples in museums and private collections.

Can be worn with or without a helmet. A must-have with any Viking, Medieval or Renaissance outfit.

We recommend keeping this chainmail oiled at all times.

The diameter of each outer link is about 1cm and the diameter of the inner link is about 0.95cm.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt. Outside of this period, revocations will not be accepted for orders, nor for orders for the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or that, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire quickly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must notify THE ENTITY of their withdrawal through the Withdrawal Form (Link to the Document) by email, post, or fax, within this 14-day period. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the Customer. The products must be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging, and must not have been used. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used by the Customer .
