A standard-sized scimitar measures 100 centimetres and can weigh up to 1.2 kilograms.

Its Origin

Scimitars were originally elegant and light weapons, designed as weapons for the Persian nobility, but over time they acquired a warlike character and their shapes and even their uses varied over time. From Persia, they spread to other regions such as India.
