The epic finale of Tokyo Revengers has arrived

Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans began its broadcast yesterday.
The fourth and final season of the anime premiered this October 2, 2026, on Disney+ with its first episode, kicking off the long-awaited Three Deities arc and the final stretch of Takemichi Hanagaki's story.
This season will consist of 13 episodes, which will air on Fridays, concluding on December 25, if everything goes according to plan.

Following the wait since the end of Tenjiku, the anime returns with a new war, new enemies, and a Tokyo very different from the one we knew; for this season, it is essential to remember that Takemichi has managed to change a good part of the future, Hinata is alive, Kisaki is no longer part of the board, and Mikey remains the great problem left to be solved.

Below, we recall the key points from the previous seasons that you cannot forget before you start watching the finale of this anime.

A review of the most relevant events of the previous seasons

    Tenjiku changed Takemichi's future

The third season was marked by the confrontation against Tenjiku, the organization led by Izana Kurokawa.
Takemichi traveled to the past again to try to prevent the events from leading to another tragic future and, as had happened on previous occasions, each modification caused new consequences, but this time he managed to make particularly important changes from an apparently favorable point of view.
One of Takemichi's main objectives had always been to save Hinata Tachibana and, after everything that happened, he managed to reach a future in which Hina is still alive, something that for a good part of the series seemed practically impossible.

Kisaki is gone, but Mikey remains

Another essential name before starting the final season is Tetta Kisaki, as for a good part of the story he was behind numerous events that led Takemichi to return to the past time and time again. His role was fundamental in several of the timelines that the protagonist tried to change, but the Tenjiku conflict definitively modifies that situation, although the disappearance of Kisaki does not resolve the most important problem and Mikey remains Takemichi's great concern.
The leader of Toman has been one of the central characters of the entire series and also one of the most difficult to save because, although Takemichi can change events, prevent deaths, and achieve a better future for many people, Mikey's fate remains an unknown.

    Characters from Tokyo Revengers

Three major gangs vie for Tokyo: The focus of the new final arc

After Tenjiku, the landscape of the gangs changes completely.
The new season introduces three great forces that clash for the dominance of Tokyo: Brahman, Rokuhara Tandai, and Kanto Manji, whose leaders are Senju Kawaragi, South Terano, and Mikey—three characters who represent the different faces of this new war.
This conflict is the heart of the Three Deities arc and explains the title War of the Three Titans.

Furthermore, another detail that is worth remembering before starting is the new time leap.
The story moves forward to 2008, a different era from the previous timelines we have seen, and the change modifies the relationships between the characters and the setting in which Takemichi will have to act.

    Scene from Tokyo Revengers

This has been the premiere of Tokyo Revengers

The first episode of Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans is now available and has left a very positive first impression: in its first hours, it reached a 9.3 out of 10 on Simkl, with 12 votes recorded at that time.
Among the reactions, the audience's comments highlight the animation, which several viewers consider superior to that of Tenjiku, and the new opening, "IGNITE" by JO1, which is also generating good comments.
In addition, it seems to bet on the emotional component, focusing on the relationships between the characters and the bonds that have been formed, strengthened, or broken throughout the story, while preparing the ground for the conflict to come, which promises a heavy emotional load for the upcoming episodes.
