Our tunic The cotton tunic is made of solid canvas and decorated with an embroidered border. The border depicts a knot pattern (also called Celtic knot) and is based on the border of the picture stone from Lärbro (Gotland). The tunic is cut wide and has a flared lap. Therefore, it should be worn with a belt. The neckline is wide and gussets (rectangular pieces of fabric) are inserted under the arms. Pockets are inserted in the side seam. A garment from the High and Early Middle Ages in Northern Europe. Typical for the cut of this period are longer-cut upper garments with a straight-cut torso part and a flared lap (skirt).
