The Suicide Squad
It is a 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name, released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the third installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars an ensemble cast that includes Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jay Hernandez, Jai Courtney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Viola Davis, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Jared Leto. In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller recruits incarcerated supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions to save the world from a powerful threat in exchange for reduced sentences.
