Our knee-length cotton tunic is made of canvas fabric. The contrasting details are made of solid cotton fabric (canvas, also called canvas). It is elaborately worked and therefore designed as an upper garment.

The tunic is sleeveless and has brass spikes at the ends of the nest bands, making it much easier to thread the ribbons. The crew neck is provided with a slit at the front centre and is closed with nest-pointed bands. The tunic is cut straight at the top and is exposed at the skirt by laterally and centrally inserted geren (triangles) . Coarse decorative stitching gives the tunic its handmade appearance. The included canvas belt with decorative stitches is extra long and can be tied twice around the waist.
This tunic is a free interpretation
from a medieval tunic. The section is based on archaeological finds made in Skjoldehamn (Norway) and Kragelund (Denmark) and dated to the Early Middle Ages. Removable sleeves were popular in the Middle Ages because they could be washed separately and gave the opportunity for greater variation of the tunic. In terms of time, however, they belong more to the Late Middle Ages.
