Lynn C. Thompson’s love of Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) led him to Luzon to develop pocket knives in collaboration with Mike Wallace. Although several Balinese songs from his private collection served as inspiration for this, the Luzons are legal pocket knives that can be opened with a pinball machine. On all models, the blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and has been hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 57-58 HRC. It has a sharp, stable tip and just enough belly to cut and slice equally well. The grip will awaken your longing for the Philippines. Visually, it is reminiscent of a bamboo cane, and haptically, several grooves allow for a variety of comfortable grip techniques. It is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon (GFN), is weather resistant, and unlike all handles Cold Steel® has designed so far, it is a great choice for any outdoor activity.

Luzon knives are beautiful, affordable and easy to open - in short, an excellent choice. In addition, the blade lock guarantees unprecedented safety, as the knives are equipped with a double-locking side spring lock, which is extremely resistant to shocks and knocks. The Luzon is available in two sizes. Both models are equipped with a lanyard eyelet and a convertible pocket clip made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, suitable for right- and left-handed users.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel
8Cr13MoV has similar properties to AUS 8A and is a proven steel that is ideal for the production of work knives. In Cold Steels® tests, this high-carbon stainless steel has proven to be tough and corrosion-resistant. Like AUS 8A, it shows good edge retention and can also be easily sharpened.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
