The Pocket Bushman has a blade made from low temperature treated 4116 stainless steel, which is incredibly durable, can be sharpened very sharply and has fantastic edge resistance. It is long, wide and has a pointed tip allowing for a wide range of uses.

The handle is like the famous Douk-douk formed from a single piece. There are no planks, grips or spacers. A single piece of stainless steel is bent into a U-shape. This piece serves as the blade housing and offers the stability and sturdiness needed for the innovative Ram Safe™ locking system.

Ram Safe â„¢ Locking Mechanism
This innovative system was developed by Andrew Demko and is perfectly suited to the monobloc construction of the handle. It is just a steel piston that is pushed back and forth by spring force. A powerful compression spring pushes the piston forward. In this way, the blade remains stationary in place, whether the blade is open or closed. When open, the piston remains wedged between the hinge and the handle frame. If the piston or the blade seal becomes deformed through intensive use, the self-adjusting piston adjusts and simply clicks deeper. A stable lock is always guaranteed.

4116 Stainless Steel Knife
4116er steel is a fine-grained, corrosion-resistant blade steel from Germany. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and for high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced ratio of carbon and chromium ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. The very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting and outdoor knives. Cold Steels® 4116 stainless steel is cryo-treated. This low-temperature treatment ensures significantly better strength, hardness, toughness and edge retention.

You must send the item(s) to us using your own means. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days of receipt.
