This unique sword is based on a silver-inlaid bronze sword hilt that was excavated on the island of Eigg in 1830. Blade fragments found at the time could not be preserved. However, this replica has been reconstructed based on a classic Nordic shape and features typical of a traditional sword from the High Middle Ages.

The blade is made of EN45 hardened spring steel, making it sturdy and durable. The wide, unsharpened edges give it an imposing presence, while the copper inlays on the pommel give it an elegant look. The handle is wrapped in brown leather for comfort and grip. The guard and pommel are also richly decorated with details resembling the original artifact.

The sword comes with a brown wooden/leather scabbard for protection. However, it is important to note that this sword is not suitable for display combat, but is intended to be a collector's item and decorative object.

In terms of technical specifications, the blade is approximately 79 cm long and has a thickness of about 4.5 mm. The handle is about 18 cm long and the weight without the sheath is about 1.7 kg, while with the sheath it is about 2.2 kg. The center of gravity is located about 12 cm from the guard.
